Nikhil Uppal, BScH Candidate Summer Student
Nikhil is entering his third year of Honours Integrated Sciences at McMaster University. As a summer student in the Lanktree lab, he is pursuing research on genetic markers which may lead to development of kidney disease.
Erin Cross, BScH Summer Student
Erin recently completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences at Queen's University and will soon begin her Master of Science in Physiology at University of Toronto. As a summer student in the Lanktree lab, she is participating in a range of projects aimed at better understanding the genetic basis of kidney disease.
Pukhraj is a fourth year Arts and Science student at McMaster University with particular interests in physiology and pathology. As a cooperative education student in the Lanktree lab, he is conducting a thesis project focused on investigating genetic evidence for the role of a novel protein in kidney disease. Outside of the lab, Pukhraj enjoys working out, restoring classic cars, and playing guitar.
